Film Discussion (Film: Black Panther)

The movie Black Panther broke records in February 2018 and reigned on the box office charts for over a month. There is no contesting the beauty of the cinematography and how strongly we felt about this triumphant Black superhero. At this event, we'll talk about white supremacy, the concept of revolution and globalism. Discussion topics will also include: afrofuturism, intra-racial tensions and African representation.
